About Us

Musicking was founded by Christobel Clark (nee Moore) in 2009 to provide specialised music tuition and music therapy services.

Christobel Clark is a registered music teacher (Queensland College of Teachers) and registered music therapist (Australian Music Therapy Association).  She holds Bachelor of Music Performance, a Graduate Diploma in Education (Primary and secondary Classroom Music, Instrumental Music and Choral Music), and a Masters of Music Therapy.

Born in Australia, she lived in Argentina and Uruguay from the age of seven and is bilingual in English and Spanish.  As a professional musician and teacher, she returned to Australia in 2007 to specialise in Music Therapy at the University of Queensland.

She currently works with children and adults with special needs, including physical disabilities, intellectual impairment, Autistic Spectrum Disorders and other developmental disorders, acquired brain injury and challenging behaviours, and children who have witnessed or experienced abuse.
